We’re not alone in our struggle. God has not abandoned us. He has passion for us. He longs to restore us. He wants to know us. He wants us to know Him. We may desperately want God to restore our body. We may desperately want God to restore a relationship in our lives. We may desperately want God to restore our finances, to restore a dream we have, to restore a place—where we feel wounded, broken, and damaged. I hope and pray He will, but God is desperate to restore your broken relationship with Him. God is desperate to call you daughter. God is desperate to call you son. Then, and only then, do you get to “go in peace,” (see Mark 5:34).
